Henan's Rural Online Retail Sales Up 7.7%

河南农村网络零售额增长7.7%

In 2022, Henan's online retail sales in rural areas amounted to 151.63 billion yuan with a year-on-year increase of 7.7 percent, of which 98.5 billion yuan was contributed by agricultural products, up 8.1 percent from a year earlier, said a source from the Department of Commerce of Henan Province on January 18. The level of e-commerce application in Henan's rural areas was higher than the national average, and the rural online retail sales maintained steady and rapid growth.

河南省商务厅1月18日发布数据，2022年全省实现农村网络零售额1516.3亿元，同比增长7.7%，其中农产品网络零售额985亿元，同比增长8.1%。全省农村电商应用水平高于全国平均水平，零售额保持较快增长。

A total of 589 thousand online shops are operating in Henan with 209 Taobao villages and 144 and Taobao towns built so far, both ranking first in Central and West China.

据统计，河南省目前在线活跃店铺数量达58.9万家，淘宝村和淘宝镇数量分别达到209个、144个，淘宝村、镇数量居中西部第一位。（中文来源/河南日报 记者/孙静 编译/杨佳欣）
