Henan's Cross-border E-commerce Trade Up 13.3% in Jan-Oct
From January to October, the cross-border e-commerce trade volume of Central China's Henan province jumped 13.3 percent year-on-year to 188.74 billion yuan, far exceeding the expected target, said a source from the Department of Commerce of Henan Province on December 1. In October alone, the trade volume reached 18.35 billion yuan with a year-on-year increase of 16.5 percent, providing strong support for stabilizing the province's foreign trade.
Since January, Henan has been embracing more cross-border e-commerce players and a broader market. By the end of September, 8,541 new e-commerce enterprises have been registered across Henan, bringing the total number to 44,065. Data from China (Henan) International Trade "Single Window" shows that Henan's top 5 cross-border e-commerce trading partners are the US, South Korea, Japan, the UK and France. It is worth noting that among Henan's top 10 trading partners 3 are RCEP member countries which have become important emerging markets for Henan.
