Private enterprises, with the increasing vitality of their foreign trade businesses, made the greatest contribution.
Comprehensive bonded zones were the major driving force for the provincial foreign trade.
Trading with the province's top 5 trade partners, namely the US, the EU, the ASEAN, South Korea and China's Taiwan region, contributed 61.1 percent to the foreign trade volume.
Henan's main exports were mobile phones, labor-intensive products, hair products and unwrought silver, while the main imports were integrated circuits, parts of audio/video products and metal ores.
Zhengzhou, Jiyuan, Sanmenxia, Xuchang and Luoyang topped other prefecture-level cities across the province in terms of the total foreign trade volume.
