Highlights of the 4th Global Cross-border E-commerce Conference in Henan
The 4th Global Cross-border E-commerce Conference (the 4th GCEC) will be held in Zhengzhou, Central China’s Henan province, from September 22 to 24. It is not only the first major international economic and trade event held offline in Henan after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic this year, but also a significant step to deepen the province’s high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce industry and promote a new round of high-level opening-up.

According to a news briefing held by the Information Office of Henan Provincial People’s Government recently, the 4th GCEC aims to discuss the trend of global cross-border e-commerce industry, build a world-renowned, high-end and targeted platform for exchange and cooperation among global cross-border e-commerce businesses, keep promoting innovation in cross-border e-commerce industry and achieve high-quality development.

Which industry insiders or enterprises will attend the conference?
To create an high-level event for cross-border e-commerce industry and put the quality first and foremost, only around 500 participants will attend the 4th GCEC. The number is limited, but the participants are of high levels including Long Yongtu (co-chairman of Global CEO Conference, chairman of Center for China and Globalization, and chairman of Global Cross-border E-commerce Conference), Huang Qifan (vice-chairman of China Center for International Economic Exchanges), Zhang Dawei (vice-chairman of China Center for International Economic Exchanges), Tang Min (advisor of the State Council, and vice-chairman of Youcheng China Social Entrepreneur Foundation), etc. As for enterprises, the senior executives and representatives of platform enterprises at home and abroad such as Alibaba Group, DHGate.com, JD Group, VIP.com, JUMEI.com, Little Red Book, Google, Amazon, Yandex, etc., logistics enterprises including ZTO Express, YTO Express, STO Express, YUNDA Express, China Business Aviation Group, Jinpeng Airlines, etc., payment enterprises like PingPong, Lianlian Pay, Ocean Payment, etc., and integrated service enterprises like BOSSGOO.
Which exhibitors will be presented at the Online GCEC?
The Online GCEC undertaken by Henan Bonded Logistics Center have attracted much attention. There will be lots of commodities from different countries on display. According to Henan Bonded Logistics Center, the conference will be held both online and offline. Apart from the offline exhibitions and forums, the online live broadcast will be conducted simultaneously. The Online GCEC will be broadcast live for 3 consecutive days to provide consumers with carefully selected products imported from Japan, South Korea, the United States, Australia, Italy and other countries. In the areas with products for export, special booths for poverty alleviation purpose will be set up to conduct live broadcast of products from the poverty-stricken areas across the province so as to promote adjustment of Henan’s industrial structure. In addition, special booth for China’s top 10 comprehensive pilot zones for cross-border e-commerce will also be established to promote featured products from Xinjiang, Nanning, Guizhou and other places in China, and present artistic performances and live broadcasts in English.
