Puyang Opens a Sea-Rail Combined Transport Line, Becoming a New Channel in Henan Province to Connect the “Maritime Silk Road”



 

1月8日上午,随着一声汽笛鸣响,首趟“中原号”班列驶出晋豫鲁铁路濮阳东站直奔天津港,为河南省连通“海上丝绸之路”再添新通道。

On the morning of January 8, with a sound of the siren, the first “Zhongyuan” train left Puyang East Station connecting Shanxi-Henan-Shandong railway passage and headed for Tianjin Port, becoming a new channel in Henan province to connect the "Maritime Silk Road".

 

“中原号”班列从濮阳始发,经京九铁路向北,过沧州抵达天津港,目前每周开通一至二班,未来计划常态化密集开行。“这是豫北乃至豫鲁冀三省交会区域首条铁海联运班列。”据濮阳市商务局相关负责人介绍,“将对豫鲁冀三省交会地区外贸货物起到强大的吸纳集聚效应,使该地区加快融入国际货运支撑体系。”

The “Zhongyuan” train starts from Puyang, goes north by the Beijing-Lowloon railway, passes Cangzhou and finally arrives at Tianjin Port. At present, it operates one to two classes every week, planning to operate in a regular and intensive way in the future. “This is the first sea-rail combined line in North Henan and even in the intersection area of Henan, Shandong and Hebei.” According to the person from Puyang Commerce Bureau, “It will play a strong role in attracting and gathering foreign trade goods from the provinces of Henan, Shandong and Hebei, and accelerate the integration of the region into the international freight support system.”

 

近年来,濮阳外向型经济发展迅速,去年外贸进出口完成约53亿元,进出口货物约200万吨。但长期以来,由于海关商检机构缺失和交通瓶颈制约,濮阳进出口货物只能依靠公路运转至港口报关,效率低、成本高。作为濮阳“无水港”建设的先导性项目,“中原号”班列一举改变单一的国际货运出海运输方式,开辟了濮阳及周边地区货运出海新通道。

In recent years, the export-oriented economy in Puyang has developed rapidly. Last year, the import and export of foreign trade was about 5.3 billion yuan, and the import and export of goods was about 2 million tons. But for a long time, due to the lack of customs inspection institutions and traffic problems, Puyang has to transport the goods to the relevant port for customs clearance through highway with low efficiency and high cost. As a pilot project of Puyang's "waterless port" construction, the "Zhongyuan" train has changed the single mode of international cargo transportation and opened up a new channel for cargo transportation in Puyang and its surrounding areas.

 

濮阳龙丰纸业有限公司出口南非的200吨高档书写纸,成为“中原号”班列的首批“乘客”。“我们每年有3万吨文化用纸通过天津港销往40多个国家和地区,班列开通后可大大提高进出口效率,减少中转环节,降低运营成本。”公司总经理徐常宁兴奋地表示。(记者王映 翻译赵汉青)
